The primary objective of this scheme is to increase the Gross Enrollment Ration (GER) of students belonging to the Scheduled Castes category. Under this scheme, students who are studying at post matric or post secondary level will get financial assistance ranging from Rs 4000 – Rs13,500.

Post Matric Scholarships for SC Students are offered to students residing in Haryana and enrolled in specified post matric or post secondary level programs. This scheme is implemented not only to encourage students to pursue higher education but also to increase the gross enrollment ration of SC students in higher education.
Applicants must meet several criteria to be eligible for the scholarship, one of which is income criterion of Rs 2,50,000 per annum. Eligibility for Post Matric Scholarship for SC Students, Haryana
- Applicant must be a permanent citizen of Haryana.
- Students from Scheduled Caste (SC) will be considered as beneficiaries.
- Annual family income of applicants should not be more than Rs. 2.5 lakh per annum.
- Students pursuing post-matriculation or post-secondary level courses will be considered eligible for the scholarship.
- Students pursuing their studies through online or distance courses are also eligible. But in this scenario students shall receive non-refundable fees except for academic allowance.
- Students should also maintain 75% academic attendance.

- Visit Haryana Scholarship Portal official website https://harchhatravratti.highereduhry.ac.in.
- Now, click on Student Registration.
- Enter your family ID (PPP) and click on Search button.
- Select applicant name from the list and verify OTP.
- Enter the required information in the registration form and create a password.
- Finally click on Register button.
- Enter username, password and captcha to login.
- Select the Apply for Scholarship option from the dashboard.

Scheme Benefits & Amount
Under this scheme, students will get compulsory non-refundable fees and academic allowance till the completion of the course. Compulsory non-refundable fees shall include registration fees, games, tuition, library, but shall not include refundable fees such as caution money and security deposit.
