Eligibility for Har Chhatravratti Scholarship 2024
One must fulfill the eligibility criteria below to apply for any of the welfare schemes available on the Har Chhatravriti portal.
- Applicant must be resident of Haryana.
- Students from General, OBC, EBC and DNT and SC communities can apply for the scholarship.
- Applicant pursuing higher education from any government aided/ self financing college or government college.
- The name of the applicant must be listed in the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP ID.
- Residents of Haryana who are studying outside state will also be considered eligible.
- Applicant’s family income should not exceed 2.5 lakh rupees.
- In case of Lower Income Group Scheme, applicant’s family income should not exceed Rs 12,000 per annum.

Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) is mandatory to apply for any scholarship under Har Chhatravratti portal, it is a family ID which automatically fetches applicant data. Students applying for the scholarship first time must complete registration (one-time) process. Then they can fill the scholarship form according to their course and eligibility.
How to Register on Har Chhatravratti Portal?
If you are an existing user then skip the below process.
- Open any browser and navigate to https://harchhatravratti.highereduhry.ac.in.
- To register, click on the Student Registration option.
- Enter Parivar Pehchan Patra (Family ID).
- Once the list opens, choose your (applicant’s) name and then click on Generate OTP.
- Enter and verify the OTP received on the registered mobile number.
- Wait for the detailed information to be fetched.
- Now select department, college and create a strong password, then click on register option.
Note: After successful registration, you will be assigned a username, note it down for future reference.
